There is a small allen-head screw on the boost switch that controls when it comes on. I added an LED to my kit so I could look at my boost gauge when it comes on and adjusted it from there.

but now I do see a brownish spots in my coolant...all I did was add a bottle of redline water wetter. Did any of you experience this...could this be related to the water/alcohol sprayed?

Yes, the watter wetter will make your coolant look like it has brown spots. I have it in my IC and radiator and they look the same.
