$8 GRAND!? I think they will be selling to a FEW very select customers. Even at 400 RWHP, who's gonna pony up that much cash?

I agree, seems like a lotta dough. I think $5K to $6K would be somewhat more reasonable. But 400RWHP is pretty damn good though.

Can the tranny even handle 400 Hp? I think it would need a "slight" modification as well.

Re: Power Enterprise Twin Turbo Kit for VQ

well you kinda need the new headers. and a new exhaust would be wise too. but i agree, 8 grrr is kinda steep. i hope it comes with some new headgaskets or pistons. if not, its not worth it. 10.3/1 c/r and FI is not a good match........

Doc

You have been weighed.....You have been measured.....and you have been found WANTING!!!

I dont see what G35 owner will pony up that cash. Besides ... G owners will need to find a way to mount the front mount intercooler. I dont think a lot of us will wanna mess with trying to fit a new bumper on the car and mess with beautiful lines of the car.

I would personally rather pony up the cash for the SUPERCHARGER and call it a day.

Re: Power Enterprise Twin Turbo Kit for VQ

In the whole entire list of parts included in the kit... i didnt see any ECU upgrades or any new FMU upgrades. isnt that kinda the most important part of the kit.

also ... how soon before you blow your motor on such high compression and such high boost. i'm sure the first thing will go if anything will probably the differentials and lsd since i'm sure they are not capable of handling that much power.

Re: Power Enterprise Twin Turbo Kit for VQ

its only running 5 punds of boost so the engine were should be low. If i was going to blow 8 grand on this kit i would also get the lower compression pistons and new rods.

Re: Power Enterprise Twin Turbo Kit for VQ

You need to get the new pistons and rods...And 8 Grand is nothing when you see that you're getting a fuel system designed specifically with this kit...And yes, out trannies can handle the power...The VQ hasn't even come close to having its full potential unleashed...Nissan is extremely conservative, hence the heavy flywheels, restrictive fuel maps, and low peak RPMs...They're actually damaging the engine over time by being so conservative, and also losing power to the wheels...The coupes, however, have carbon fiber reinforced driveshafts, so an option if you're worried is to go with a full carbon fiber driveshaft upgrade if you're worried about the power delivery and the stock tranny handling it...

Re: Power Enterprise Twin Turbo Kit for VQ

8000 to buy the kit. Does any one ever think of the price of the install. Intstalling this kit would require the motor to be lifted. Thats alot of money right herr. be like another 8 grand to install!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Power Enterprise Twin Turbo Kit for VQ

where can you buy a full carbon fiber driveshaft for a G35?
I've looked everywhere on-line.

I haven't seen one specially made for the G, but my guess is that you can have one custom made for you.
