I am looking for the Cowl installed in OEM hood, not the stillen hood.

I have an 05, no hood avail. But I can't find photos for people who installed the Cowl. All seems to have bought hood, luck for 03/04 sedan. Any 05 Sedan out there with Stillen?

They don't make a cowl for the sedan, just coupe and 350z.

Actually, they do. They just didn't put it on their site. I called Stillen,
they said they sold one to a guy with 05 Sedan & the Guy put the Cowl
on his sedan by a body shop to install the SC.

Unfortunately, I don't think he is on this furum.

Didn't know that. My bad.

Did they say if it was just a cowl from the coupe or they made a different one for the sedan? I would think you could make some minor mods to the coupe one for the lines on the hood.

The reps says it's not the one for coupe. It's one made for Sedan, & fits 03-06.
However, 04-05 the Sedan changed the hood a bit, so It's kind of starnge
that the same coel would fit.

Yes the 03/04 hood has a bump with two lines and the 05+ hood has a single line. I don't see how they could make one to fit. If they did they need to tell people. The price of the hood stops a lot of people from buying the kit!

I would think that any reputable body shop could custom fit the cowl to a sedan hood.

Or just cut a hole in the hood and leave the SC hanging out! Boy that would set off all the civic ricers.

A Glass Cowl would be ideal, housing the polished version of SC. It's like Ferrari use glass to show off the engine. A Glass Cowl should look like a cockpit shape.

Since the hood is aluminum, why can't a good metal working body shop reshape it with a higher curve to the hood so it could be one piece? Or is it just to much of a bulge to make with the original hood?

Good idea, it may be done but it's going to be hard. Need to raise 3"
for clearance in the middle per stillen
