Vortech Ordered
Vortech Ordered
After months of being on the fence I went ahead and ordered the Vortech S/C for my 04 coupe. Should be here by next Friday, at the latest. Installation scheduled for Monday and should have the car back by Tues, hopefully if there's no install issues. I also odered the oil pan spacer, wiring harness for the ECU and the spark plugs. Now if somecan tell me how to post pictures and video clips, I would gladly put them up after the install.

Xman and jibolean, I'd like to see your set-ups as well, and I'm in Morris County too (Long Valley). I'm not sure if I should try to fit the Vortech into my 05 sedan, or wait a little longer for the Stillen.
Xman, what types of problems (if any) did you have with your install?

Update.
Should be getting the car back by this Thu/Fri. For anyone interested, pre-Vortech numbers were 231hp, 213tq on dynojet, a/f ratio was really rich. I might get a UNICHIP tuning later after I see the new numbers.

i believe that the vortech is the best forced induction option available to our cars. it seems our engine accepts it and the amound of horsepower it lays down is perfect for me. 360 whp is probably the most stress u should put on the engine without upgrading internals. good luck and have fun.

I dont think thats really true. Our engine can handle 400hp but it's the tq that blows the stock motors. I think 350lb tq is max the stock block can take for a daily driven g35 without having any problems down the line.
