Is it bad to keep the bottle open all the time or should it be closed while not in use?

 

It should be closed when not in use, and if your done with it for the day you should purge the system.

 

KPtechnologies made a custom bottle opener module for a customer a while back. It was pretty cool, because it eliminated the push button open/close switch and uses a single toggle switch. When the system is disarmed it automatically closes the bottle. When the system is rearmed the module is capable of providing visual feedback that the bottle was opened.
