built right ive seen proof of 1350hp at the motor on the engine dyno and the same motore put 1128 at the wheels.

VRT plays with the car like its a bicycle Im pretty sure it doesnt get rebuilt everytime cuz Mike drives that thing everyday.

Racing my new Yellow Z at Button Willow this weekend.

Trying to make the most agressive tune on Race Fuel ONLY for the track.
500+.

Will see. Need a time attack champ.

You know this thread brings up a good question, if you "build" a VQ when does it stop being a VQ? If you replace the pistons, rods, cams, etc, etc, etc when it is basicaly a whole new motor? How much has to be replaced? 50%-80-100?

It's not necessarily about the specific parts being used but about the layout and design of the block and components.

I could build a small block Chevy engine and not have a single gasket, ring, rod, or even the block from Chevy, bore/stroke it larger than any SBC ever manufactured, and it would still be a SBC.

When we build a motor, for the most part Pauter Rods, Arias or CP Pistons, JWT Cams and Valve Springs. Everything else is Nissan including the gaskets, all stock heads hardware and more.

We race the cars as hard as anyone, and still no major incident.

Pretty solid foundation if you ask me.

Have a nice day and good-luck.

The VQ Platform is pretty good, especially with the block sleeved and decked with the right internals, Im sure we will have more real 800whp cars soon. Its all about what the customer wants, and we can meet those wants.
