You don't need 600 whp to make you happy. A properly tuned TT on a stock block will give you about +400 rwhp. You should go to my350z.com to see the different levels of VQ tuning. You'll be amazed how potent a 430 rwhp TT is against a 430 rwhp supercharged car. 600 rwhp is a huge undertaking.

Just a thought, I wonder how much HP the new VQ-35 will take without engine mods? They (Infiniti) say that they have really beefed up the lower end of this thing and now with twin throttle bodies....

bro, with the amount of points on your lisence... spend that money for a good lawyer and get rid of those points before you go wasting your money on a car you won't even be able to drive when they cut up your lisence.

- swap engine $1000
- Built VQ motor long blocks $6000 + my stock engine

This is $16,900

But I know I need some cooling stuff right? So, do you guys have any info on how much it's going to cost me, and if I waited for one more year do you think the stuff will get cheaper?

I'd save $1K and go with the APS TT tuner kit if I could do it all over again. You can add the UTEC or FCON because you won't make over 500whp with the Unichip.

Good-luck with your search.

The bottom-line with regards to 600+ WHP, the car must be complete. Everything must be considered from top to bottom, otherwise you will be driving a dangerous piece of equipment.

Wheels
Tires
Suspension
Brakes
Cooling
Motor
Kit
Fuel
EMS
Gauges
Clutch and Fly
and More

Alot of Power to consider. Take your time and don't be in a rush. If you would like to discuss, please PM or hit our website.

Warmly

M

well you wont have to sleeve the block you can just put rods and pistons with head studs and main studs and cometic head gasket....put a return line in and the APS kit will be nice with there full exhaust also...the utec is nice and many people can tune it....if you have brembo brakes you should be aright with just upgrading rotors and pads and some stainless lines...upgrade the flywheel and clutch for sure...while you have the heads off get them ported and polished and ferrea the whole thing...

APS 7000
heads 3000
fuel return 1000
utec 850
brakes 1000
block 3500 (guessin)
boost gauge 150
wideband 200
oil cooler 350
clutch and flywheel 1000

then install and tuning unless you can install yourself and just get it tuned...your def good for 600whp but after you launch that **** to hard your def gonna need axles so go with the driveshaft shop level 5....i think they$1300

^^^ = ~ $20,000 ??? (calculated in my head @ 3:30 am .. if i'm wrong by a long shot.. forgive me please lol).. I don't mind my car not being the fastest on the road.. knowing that I can put that $20k on something more invest-worthy although it would be nice to have lol

Wheels
Tires
Suspension
Cooling
Brakes

....

+ ~ $15,000 roughly?

therefore =

~ $35,000 for a fully driveable 600 rwhp beast!..

$35,000..............

$35,000................................ lol

I'm pretty sure people that want "600+" hp haven't even been inside a car with that much power...

Don't get me wrong!.. I planned on wanting to do a 500hp fully reliable G35.. but then thought about it.. and decided.. that it's not very practical.

The fastest car i've driven was a Porsche Turbo S pushing around (-)~475 whp and the whole time I was driving it.. I kept telling my homeboy, "...Why??? Why is this thing so fast? What is the point!?" lol.. (of course, because it's my buddies car.. and not mine.. I couldn't help but stay on the gas till mid 4th on the streets sorry guys.. I know that it's dangerous) But however.. that's ~475 whp .. and I wanted 500??? You want 600whp for daily driving????? Dude you're nuts haha..

You guys got me wrong. I didn't say it will be my daily driving car; it will be tracking car and for the fun times.

I already have the Utec and A/F ration meter. The wheels, suspension and the clutch/ flywheel will be done before building the motor. When I considered going FI, My only though was about the engine and cooling to keep it running for longer time.

If you already have the UTEC, why go with the APS TT complete kit? There is no reason not to go with the Tuner kit.
