i would go with his fuel setup. I wouldn't be worried about making a ton of power, instead I would worry about have a reliable setup for a DAILY DRIVER. Standalone is the only way to go for ultimate reliability.

You've seen my car. Daily driver, over 14K miles on the kit, over 40 passes at the track, stock motor.

I'd say my car is reliable. I can't complain.

You can get as much hp as you want, that's not the issue. It's how much boost that can be ran safely run through your stock block. I can only give you my experience and what I would of done differently. My TT kit was tuned by one of the best tuners in the country to 442whp at 9psi, carefully maintained and I blew my motor in 8 months. Some Z/G owners running that amount or close to that, have several thousands of miles on their stock block FI G/Zs without issue. You just don't know. I know now that I would of run a lot less hp.

I'm just saying to minimize the risk of going FI on a stock block, keep your whp less than 380whp. If you don't care if you blow it, then build now and save thousands.

I figured and there are more things you can do to improve the longevity of your stock block on FI. Just depends on your budget.

Psycraft, you keep asking people how much HP you can get out of your car, and they are all telling you not to push it passed 380whp. Why must you continue to ask if it's ok to go to hp numbers higher than that?

If you want, tell them to tune your kit to 12psi so you can put down 500whp. That's not the point. It's only a matter of time before that shyt's going to blow up unless you make the additional necessay upgrades.

Goodluck with the boost. I hope for your sake you don't blow your engine.

Honestly it all depends. It's as much about how much power you're adding w/ the TT setup as how good an install/tune you get. A bad install and tune will kill an engine regardless of how much power you add. Since you're down in FL, check out Forged Performance in GA...a good shop from what I hear.
Sharif at Forged would be glad you help ya out.

Good luck.

My advice is don't go over 400 on stock block without something like a FCon.

^^Why would you say that? their are a couple of ems solutions out there. do you have personal experience that the FCON is the only EMS that will safely let you run over 400whp, or is that just what you were told? UTEC, FCON, and the new unichip Q are all effective solutions. check with your installer and see what ems they are comfortable tuning. Do some research.
