Motordyne MREV2

Was thinking of adding a MREV2 with a 5/16 plenum spacer. Do I need additional hood clearance for this mod. I've been reading that the gains with this through the mid range are great, about 15-20. Can anyone vouch for that

No, you will not need any additional hood clearence.. With the 5/16 spacer you can still use your G35 cover. If you were to get the 1/2 spacer you couldn't use the cover anymore.

thanks thats good to know. Do you know if thats an easy mod to spot for infiniti service techs. I am worried if i take the car in for sevice that they will spot it, and void my factory warranty. Any Thoughts

they wont void your warrntly unless the problem youre taking it in for was caused by the mod. if youre really that worried about warranty, take it out before you go. they wont void your warranty for this if youre getting your window motor replaced or something like that.

i have a 04 Sedan AT. Thats good to know. I was reading that in the warranty book. Basically it was saying the same thing, that they can't void the warranty unless they specifically diagnose the mods to be the source of the problem. I figured that wasn't always gonna be the case. Not planning on messing with the internals so i figure if need be i can take whatever I put on off.

thanks
