How Loud are 750cc Injectors?
This is at idle.
I have been experiencing some knocking at idle for awhile now. It seems to increase speed with engine RPM, but isn't noticeable above 1500 - 2000RPM. [It could be the supercharger whine overpowering it]. You can't hear it with the hood popped either, it is heard best inside the car at idle. Idle is smooth [as it can be with large injectors] and I don't think it could be detonation, bearing, or rod because my tuner says the engine looks and performs fine when dynoing and tuning [but you can't rule out anything I guess].
I know at part to WOT the injectors hiss, which they have always done since 440cc - and I've heard RC injectors are noisy to begin with.
Other then that, at idle, knocking is steady, not over powering - you can't hear it with the AC on even 2 marks up and it doesn't matter if its just started on a 30* morning or been running 5 hours on the highway.
