Exclamation ATI Procharger problems !

I have an '03 5AT coupe with about 50K and recently got it supercharged with ATI. I live in the northeast and the past few weeks have been bitter cold (less then 30 F). Every time i start my car, the supercharger belt's screetches like HELL. I mean it sounds like the car has an old hoopty engine in and it sounds horrible and VERY embarrassing if people are around. It'll do that for about a good 30 seconds-45 seconds before going away. I have a vented TS style CF hood as well. The supercharger is also added by new headers, cat-less pipes, and exhaust. ANY reason as to why it sounds as shi**y as it does? Any way to fix this?? It seem's as though when the car gets somewhat warmed up, it goes away. Thanks guys.

lube it up... the belt's properties may change below a certain temp and cause this screeching... once it warms up it stops right...

Check the tightness of it. Also park your car in the garage. LOL

My belt did this, too, but only after I got some oil on it from where the crank case vent hose was placed.

May be a new belt would help?

My HKS S/C made some minor noise at cold start, I change the belt
even it still looks good. It sounds almost stock at idle now, barely can hear
it untill stumping the gas.
