Top end of TN ST

I'm about 90% sure this is what im going with.

What is the Top horsepower I can realistically squeeze out of this kit.

I'm getting a new tranny and going to build my engine as $$ comes in, then finally build the tranny a bit and go with a greddy build (this all over a year or two, unelss the new job pulls through lol)

So, right now I'm looking for about 400rwhp, I know that the TN kit can do that... but how far have yall gotten up to?

Thanks =)

Why don't you just wait and do a greddy TT and block all together.. why waste money and do a TN first?

I dynoed at 343/381 @ 8psi. The car starts to lean out after 6000rpms, so a return fuel system is in my future. The return fuel system adds to the safety of the tuning and helps make tuning abit easier with a consistent fuel pressure.

Greddy is Hella expensive, 2250 for an install alone... I may do it... and just run a really conservative tune for a while.

What other mods are you running 98intrigue?

Crawford plenum, non-cat version of the Turboentics kit with RC440 injectors and AAM oil pan spacer, HKS Hi-Power exhaust...all tuned with the Utec.

340-360 rwhp is normal for a turbonetics kit. some people will post dyno number is the 400 range, but I call BS on that. 340-360 rwhp is what is right on an uncorrected dyno!!

Local installer talked me into Greddy TT-- he's right... the TN is a time bomb and a pos.

IMO

i would think the greddy is more of a time bomb on stock internals.. lol

but since you're going to build it eventually, thats the way to go

Any kit is a time bomb unless it's tuned right.

+1^ I remember greddys were blowing up left and right 2yrs ago because of the tuning. If you go greddy make sure you find a good tuner that knows what he is doing. Get a conservative tune on stock internals or you will be forced to do something....build after you blow your engine. I would suggest if you have the funds build now so if you feel like turning up the boost a little one day you will have no worries because your internals can handle it and so will your pockets!!
