Got my car back today.

Well I just got my car back today from Sam at GT Motorsports and all I can say is that they are a great team of guys who know what they are doing.

I took my car in to them last Sunday with some things I wanted to install and a few concerns about the car itself, well a week later and with all the issues pretty much taken care of I can say that the car is a different animal, here is the list of what they did;

Upgraded valve body
Upgraded Torque convertor
Upgraded Trans cooler
Upgraded oil cooler
Crawford plenum spacer 5/16
Stillen catch can
Blitz SBC boost controller
HKS FCON V Pro
New Belts and cleaned and fixed all oil leaks(another story)

On their dyno dynamics the car made 409 rwhp and 400trq at 12psi.
Not bad considering it is not a dyno jet number.
Unfortunately my injectors ran out of fuel so I am going to be upgrading them real soon and going back to get the extra 2 psi the car owes me

Funny thing is that Sam said the exhaust flowed much better than he thought it would and that is pobabaly why I maxed out my injectors...Fast Intension exhaust gets a thumbs up from me.

I will post pics soon.

I dynoed it about 3 weeks before and got 350rwhp and 360trq. This was before the spacer and exhaust but I was having issues with back pressure and oil leaks and the tranny. The exhaust is actualy not that loud probably due to me being turboed.
GTM use the same people Sharif use so it is the same setup as Forged Internals I presume.
The thing shifts so fast that in manumatic mode I spun the tires in first, second and partially third.....oh what fun on a 7 hour drive back from LA today

Anyone selling 720 injectors PM me, I need them!!

How does the exhaust sound? How do you like the FCON? Are there any CELs?

Exhaust sounds sweet, I love the FCON, it makes the car a lot smoother and drives very much like stock. I do have 1 CEL which I was told I would get but we will fix that at our next tuning session.

Did Sam mention if it would require a reflash in addition to the tune, to get rid of the cel and if there would be an extra cost for it?

No reflash as far as I'm aware but def. a retune as I am upgrading injectors, of course there is always an additional cost but not as much as the first tuning session.

Hmm, I was told by GTM to totally get rid of the cels, you need a reflash, special FCON settings and lot of tuning to get the map as close to oem as possible, so it doesn't trigger them. I'm trying to decide on the FCON but the thought of a constant cel will drive me a little crazy. I believe GTM is the only FCON tuner that has come up with the solution.

Brian you are correct they can get rid of the CEL's completely, I read that over on my350z site but mine needs a little more work due to the previous builder doing some shady things so for now I will have the CEL light for awhile till I can get time to drive the 7 hours back down there this year.

I just need to gather a few more parts to bring down with me

As there is nothing to see under the hood I took a few pics of the coolers.

Actually here is one for Brian as he asked for it in a previous thread.

one of the coolers;

and the Stillen cooler

Close up on the catch can;
