Keep discussing this with 617G and LeeMik. Both have had superchargers and now have twins.

Also there is a big difference between a SC and TT so my question for you is HOW FAST CAN YOU OPEN YOUR WALLET AND FOR HOW LONG. You can't compare SC to a ST or a TT it's just not fare and they don't cost the same.
Exactly. You need to be a little bit more specific with what you are looking for and what your goals are.

jwt tt or greddy tt + return fuel system + ECM (utec, fcon) and you're golden.

the nice thing about the jwt tt for G35 is the twin intercooler setup. you'll be wanting a new bumper to allow proper airflow with the center setup on the greddy.

The return fuel system is debateable (sp?) depending on what his goals are.

Here is a great thread about this om my350z where Jeremy from Performance Factory discusses this exact issue.

With the JWT you don't even need any of that extra stuff, just the kit and the stock tune (~7psi) you will be set. Contact Scott at Relentless, exhaust + install of the JWT kit was $11,130.

Thats how much it was, $9k even. Exhaust ($1,330,+$200 install) + thermal coating ($600 Vegas FTL) came out to my price.

I don't think he'll be shipping his car anywhere

The problem with JWT is that you have to be "authorized" to sell/install it. We have a couple really good mechanics and tuners here in northern NE, but none sell the JWT kit. Closest one is MRC, I think, in Jersey.

I think his options are limited to Greddy and Vortech most likely, depending on what he wants.

Does the performance gain justify the jump in price. I can get a Vortech kit that has the SC, injectors, and the UTECH installed for $6,500. What does the extra $2,500 get you?

more tq, more power, full boost at 3500 rpm, and the room for growth is exponential. You will never see more than ~450whp and ~360tq from the Vortech. The Vortech is great for the money, but you will never be able to join the 600+ whp. It's all about what you want.

FWIW, I had the Vortech and went built engine and twins...a LOT of people have done this!

Not sure if MRC is authorized JWT installer but Perfomance Motorsports in Long Island NY (Now VTR) is.

If you go Forced Induction...you will either pay now (built motor ) or pay later (blowen motor ). I chose to pay now. I have not met one person yet that can install a turbo kit on a stock motor an not turn the boost above safe . Boost is an addiction...you are going to want more. Dont forget the months of down time when you blow that motor.
