400 HP at the wheel!!!

Been contemplating mod's since I drove my '06 6MT Coupe off the lot last August. Just got back from my local performance shop and here's the shopping list. Vortech V-2 Supercharger, Ceramic Headers, Cat-Back Hi-Flow Exhaust, Intake Plenum. The guys at the shop told me to expect between 380 and 400 HP at the rear wheels. My question is 2 fold; first based on the equipment listed are these numbers realistic, second with that kind of horse power should I be looking at additional parts to support the engine mod's? Much appreciated.

find out how much boost he wants you to run. i think if you're under 7psi you're ok on the stock block... otherwise you may have to build. the best place to ask this question is in the FI/Engine forums here and especially on my350z.com

I have over 400 HP at the wheel!!!

I have 405RWHP with the setup you just described running at 8psi, with no problems.

Running a stock Vortech kit with a 3.12 pulley will get you a nice car and the whp will depend on the dyno you put the car on . 400whp on a DynoJet will get you 11 to 13% less on a Mustang Dyno around 350whp . SO you see thats why you see such a wide range of whp numbers from car to car and this part of the country to the next . In big cities , you will see bigger numbers coming from different shops due to competition between thoughs shops . All trying to get the buisness .Money is money you know !
