Vortech installation issue

I finally made a decision and purchased the Vortech. First of all, has anyone had a problem with the Piggy-back Ignition Timing Control Computer from Vortech? The installation center (which I won't name until I find out who's problem is was) said they have installed the Vortech on many car's, namely Mustangs but several 350 Z's. After 2 days they said the installation went well and it was ready to Dyno. The fuel pump didn't come on under boost and the test was terminated due to the lean indications.(the pump did work when hot wired) A check engine light came on indicating a high voltage MAF reading.I'm sure they wired it incorrectly, but they insisted they went with pin location rather than wire color.Vortech did sent a RMA for the return and will bench test the unit to see if it was faulty or burned out. I'm sure the problem will be resolved, but it's been 1 1/2 weeks now.

I know of at least one person who had a problem like that with their Stillen SS box and had to send it back.
