Re: Twin Turbo Installation

Where are you located in NJ? I have been using a GREAT guy in Pompton Lakes. He is very good with performance installations. I definitely recommend him. Let me know if you want his shop's number. Let me know how it works out.

Re: Twin Turbo Installation

I just have a quick, stupid question -- is the G35 still street legal with a SC/TT setup? Somebody in another thread made a remark like "with a TT setup the G is not street legal" - this isn't true, is it?

Re: Twin Turbo Installation

The shop is called Unlimitied Auto Works in Pompton Lakes NJ. He has worked on my G a bunch of times, and does great work, and i'm not positive but he mentioned working on a guy with a 350z, but he has been working on cars and doing performance for years..he is real good. Let me know if you give him a call. I will PM you his phone number.

Re: Twin Turbo Installation

It depends if it's carb legal. I heard GReddy's kit isnt CARB legal yet so it won't pass inspection or something...but other then that they should be street legal

Re: Twin Turbo Installation

Just a note - yI hope you ARE aware, are that you will not be able to turn up the boost passed 0.3 bar (5.X psi) without the TS ECU upgrade - which I stronly recommend. Send in your ECU to Danny and ask for the 7psi PE TT program. This way, you will be able to turn up the boost to 7psi on pump gas.... There is just NO other way to do it without endangering your engine...

Otherwise, as the kit specifies - you will need to use 100 ctane gas with anything passed 5psi up to 7.35 psi (0.5 bar) with the stock ECU - not a viable option...
