Question on TT Sedan exhaust dump

My plan is to run test pipes after the turbos, into an aftermarket Y with a 3" out, then bolt on a short 3" section of tube with the Y for an E-Cut out, then transision back into a factory mid pipe back to my HKS rear. I want to keep the car reasonably quiet for daily use. I dont want to chop up my factory mid pipe I'd rather buy a used one to chop up.

My question is what mid pipe to use? Are the Coupe mid pipe the same or are they shorter? How about the Z mid pipe? I need a little extra room so shorter is prefered.

You can use the coupe but the Z is shorter.

go with a center muffler like one. It has a built-in x-pipe in the center of it; nice muffler!!!

Have the down pipes from the turbos come into it via custom piping. then, have an e-cutout put on one of the outlets. use the other outlet to send exhaust out of your stock exhaust.

It'll be a total sleeper!!!!

Nice idea actually. But I want the exhaust to be a straight dump out off of a 3" outlet from an aftermarket Y. I may just fab up mid pipe with the dump myself. I figure the bends and flanges to make a mild steel mid pipe would be under $100, already have the welder, I'm not a talented welder though
