Talking 5AT Twinturbo

Hi, I am very new to any type of tuning to cars. I currently own a 2004 5AT Coupe and I wanted to see the specs, price, and performance numbers of those who have a TT kit on their 5AT if its not a hassle for you.

I am looking into getting a TT kit installed in my car over the summer and I want it to get up to the 400HP range. How much would it also cost?

I have the same year as you and 5AT, I am putting down 410rwhp right now but going back in to have some work done and bump the power up to 500rwhp. I have an APSTT and built motor and upgraded tranny.

Just search for my specs as I have posted them before on here.

Built motor is around 6k not including removal and install, that would be around another 3k. Add another few thousand for head work, another 7k for a good TT setup and then you need to get a good engine management system (I have the Fcon Vpro 3k right there) and then tranny upgrades and oil coolers will run about 3k including install. So thats what around 25k.

Engine will probably have the ARP headbolts and better headgasket, there are tons of other things you can add like cams, better flowing exhaust to optimal performance and gauges. You may need a better fuel system but an upgraded Walbro fuel pump should suffice along with larger injectors.

Think that covers almost everything.

Getting mine installed this week, should be done tomorrow. Just the basic JWT TT kit along with HKS exhaust and thermal coating. Came out to 11K even.

Greddy Kit on my 04 auto coupe. I've had it for like a week. i'm having problems with my Tial BOV that I can't really figure out, so I have that disconnected for now.

I'm getting a very safe 355 to the real wheels untill I upgrade my tranny at which point im looking for about 400... Just my little daily driver.

Still running great. Tranny slips just a little now and then under normal conditions but no problems at full throttle. But keep in mind that I really do beat the crap out of that car. I've got around 18k miles on the setup now.

I need Alto to come out with those clutch packs so I can rebuild!

Definately keep us updated. Especially on the new tranny work. I'd like to push more too on my JWT AT but hesitate w/o any tranny work. my goal too is someday get to 500rwhp...only at 400rwhp.

Your sig says built engine. Did you do full build on engine w/ block? what kinda rwhp#s u doing now on the APS then?

oh your sig says you dont wanna say more...
u can PM me

TIA
