tim,

I am taking my time with things......I was going to do a custom stroker using the stock crank, but I think I'll stay with a stock stroke for now. It will be a fairly budget build....no sleeving, eagle rods, pistons will be a custom, built-to-order set that my engine builder will have made.

my heads are already at the head porters; he is a 4-valve head guru (a former pro-stock bike champion). he is gonna have a good look at them before we dive head first into them; basically, I'm not sure the extent that we'll go with the heads, yet.

the cams and valvetrain look like be a one-off set. with noone offering much in the cam department for the revups, it looks like we'll be regrinding the stock cams. This will necessitate custom valves to make up for the reduced base circle.

this will be a street engine for use on pump gas only...but that's all I know so far.

Sounds great. Good luck with everything!

I'm glad you are all the way over there because if you were local I would have to try and keep up!

kind of funny how 2 black sedans from opposite sides of the country have run such similar paths.

And a race map for fun too right? With all those you'd have to be itching to make some high high boost passes at the track

That's awesome! I have only had a few good races since I got the twins almost seven months ago. A CTS-V and C6 Vette were some of my fav wins.

It was just over 116 but I could not get traction in 1st or 2nd. On another run I hit 13.0 at 112. That's what I get for going at 7psi and with my 20's on the car .
