How long did it take you guys? I will be doing it this coming week probably...walbro 255. Should I make sure to have a close to empty tank?

Anything under half a tank will be good, also a bucket to put the unit in so you dont leak gas everywhere. Also I think you need to make the small hole on the sending unit a little bigger (to a 7/64) with a drill. Good luck!!

I have had mine out a few times. It is not hard to just change the pump. 1-1.5 hours is plenty and you can do it with any amount of fuel but it helps a lot to have 1/2 or less.
