small not serious problem.....
agree to disagree...from what i've read and heard from TN owners, I personally would never run the reflash

I have personally seen/handle all customers and checking up on their cars after going FI, on a scheduled basis... definitely more than a dozen TN cars we have and none have blown or have running issues. majority of the guys are actually avid drag racers and frequent local tracks like e-town and atco in nj for runs. I dont trim up the reflashes or anything and these cars are all running like champs from day one!
even with the crazy weather patterns we have out here in the tri-state area the reflash has a wide enough parameter that it can compensate and not give boost cuts or anything when the weather changes abruptly.
I personally have the TN ST kit on my 03 Track Z and it definitely hasnt been any different than when it was stock (just got alot more HP) real reliable and boost and a/f readings are always on point.
What messes with the Reflash is when people start playing around with Boost Controllers and such... once modifications are done that takes the turbo kit out of its designed parameters the ECU wont be able to detect it. Bottom line is if you want an out of the box reliable setup the TN Kit w/ the Reflash is more than sufficient. its when you go for more that you gotta start adding in the piggyback EMUs and such.

Check clamps, Check out the weld on the BOV, and listen for boost leaks.
uhh check your rods because TN has a history of making boom booms especially if you dont have an overboost pipe!

Interesting info about a turbo and reflash. I assume it runs the oem maf. so this has to run a pretty conservative psi correct? I assume as long as the reflash gets the a/f right and keeps psi below the stock maf limit, it should be okay?
I don't remember the problem in the beginning being the reflash. There was an overboost problem but that wasn't because of the reflash. I'm still running on the reflash and I was told I had the first production kit installed on a G35.
In all seriousness if your going FI spend the money and get a real tune... spending $500+ for a reflash (which is estimated) for that price you can get a much safer tune with a piggy pack. Saving $500 now is going to cost you 8-10k in the long run.

no offense to anyone, but i dont think i need a piggyback. i installed the tn kit for show, and reliability the reflash should be ok, but i have a turboxs sitting here i just dont have the time and money to go get ittuned and what not before hin.
and fyi, i didnt spend lots of money for the turbokit

seriously man, you'll be alright with the reflash... like I said my evidence lies within our community here in NY... tons of TN ST cars on Reflashes for almost 2 yrs... none have gone BOOM like everyone is saying.
