Thanks. I'm going to Broadway Performance. John is one of the only people on this planet that I will allow to touch my car.

awesome!!! how is the system working out for you? any other issues? i haven't been on the boards lately and am too lazy to look for posts. may be you can direct me to the right place if you don't feel like typing it again.

i've been in talks with sound performance to do something crazy. they have been looking for a willing x to shoot for 800+ may be in a year or so.

Damn! an 800hp x would be sick! Good luck!

My engine is running fine. I've run about 15K miles with the vortech with no engine issues. The only thing was that I put a hole in one of my A/C lines. Happens a lot apparently with FI setups. Had it replaced and thermal wrapped. I wanted to get a retune so I figured while I'm at it I might as well slip on the 3.12. I'll probably get it done in a few weeks. I'm getting killed at work lately. Anyway, just in time to get some cool weather runs in at the track.

3.12 needs no other changes other than a tune, does it? how about the 2.87?

Belt and tune...that's it. You'll want the tune so that it is doen for the new amount of boost and power band.

The 2.87 is basically the same, though I would make sure you have a boost gauge, oil pan spacer and oil cooler (both allow for extra oil in the system and well as coling it).
