Hello all I am putting this out there to you for direction.
I have my car almost built.
I want to for the Break in drive to the states to a shop to get the car tuned in.
Then drive home. I am located in ALberta and a drive to cali would be around 22 hours and 2500K about half my break in time.

My question is who should I bring the car to for tuning.
I have Utec, Turbo XS wideband O2, Greddy TT kit. Built block and heads with S1 JWT cams.
Will be running for exhaust just the cat delete pipes and stock exhaust till the destination.
So dyno tune shops that work and know G35's in Cali, Nevada, Idaho, washingtion?
or lower mainland BC

GTM from what I've seen is too expensive and they take too long. Just check your PM and hit up Scott from Relentless.

You get what you pay for. And before you jump down my throat I am not referring to Relentless. I am just saying GTM has earned the right to charge what they charge because of the quality of work they do. Anyway their rates are inline with what most shops in big cities charge so they aren't EXPENSIVE as you say.

GTM's # is 909-481-1601

I'm not talking bad about GTM in anyway, I know they do great work. Its just that I've heard you have to spend like $500 just for them to get your car through their door. And I've heard it took them once like a month-two months for a TT install. Mine was done in under 4 days.

I didn't mean to imply you were talking bad about GTM. I just wanted to clear up the fact that their rates aren't out of line with most other shops. As far as the wait that is true. They had like 30 cars in the shop when I dropped mine off not to mention all the motor they build for people around the US.

If you saw the number of cars that they have in their shop, you would understand why sometimes it takes a bit longer to get them out. But if he is simply looking for a tune, that's a whole different story. Their prices are in line with most other shops. I paid $500 for my tune.

Sam will charge y ou $500 to tune the UTEC with 1 map. That is inline with ANY shop around plus you will get the best tune around, PERIOD.

2 months to install a TT is pretty much BS and you know it.. It might take you 2 months to get ANY work started on your car as they are extremly busy.. Once your car is in the doors it takes no time at all.. If you are in business right now and are NOT busy, something is wrong....

GTM:

As you can see, they are pretty busy. And this is just part of their huge shop.
