Any doubters of IC sprayers LOOKS ;)

Well Finally had the Gcoupe I've been working on dyno'd last saturday. The car is a auto with a vortech kit with the 2.87" pulley walbro pump, bigger injectors and stillen exhaust and NOS Ic sprayer. On about 9 pounds it put down 350.3hp and 309.6TQ. The car has a snow performance meth. kit to but it was acting up so this is with out it. Now heres the crazy part. Afte spraying the IC for about five seconds the car put down. 461.7Hp and 434.7Tq. I didnt believe it at first. The runs where on a dyno-jet. So anyone who doubts the spraers think again I'll try finding a scanner tonight so I can put the dyno sheets up.

Could the NOS be entering the intake? Maybe thats the jump in power?

Nope. We checked for that. A/F stayed perfect

Increasing intercooler efficiency by lowering temps to below ambient will still not have that large an impact. Something is amiss.

^^+1

I researched this back when I was upgrading my Vortech. There is no way the IC sprayer would give you that much HP increase. Plus with the mods you say you have you should be putting out way more than 350 at 9lbs of boost.

remember, correlation does not imply causation...to come to that conclusion is very illogical

Do you have HFC or TP's? 350whp is way too low for a 2.87 pulley. I am right around there with a 3.33 pulley.

I think its just the tuner that is messing with the numbers. Who did you have tune it.

I would recommend performing a more controlled study before posting dynos. It is much more likely that either the dyno was off on one of the runs or that NOS entered the intake. Try spraying near the intercoolers, but not on it (so no cooling effect). I'll bet you get the same hp gain...

Ok well heres the dyno. From looking at it more i COMPLETELY agree some nitrous entered the system how I'm not sure. I checked over the car today and all the connections are tight. ONLY thing I can think of is when the person sprayed the car was running with the big fan in front of it. So the charger must've sucked up some of the gas. The A/F was super lean at the start then level'd out.
Only thing I'm saying now is once the nitrous is gone its gone. The power should;ve dropped off after it was gone if that was a factor past the initial start of the pull. Cause there was defaintely somethin. The TQ and HP jumped big time at the beginning.

Sorry the quality's not that great
