Turbonetics Install Issue w/ Fan????

Just left my mechanics shop after he called concerning issue with radiator fan. Halfway through install on Turbonetics ST on '03 Auto SEDAN, and plumbing does not allow room for radiator fan blades and fan shroud. This turbo was supposed be purpose made as 03-06 G35 kit. We know we have the correct kit. Mechanic has spoke to several at Turbonetics Tech support and they claim this is the first they have heard of this issue. Any ideas how this can be. I can't be the only one who has installed their Turbo on 03 SEDAN, and surely this issue would have come up before.

Either fan blades will have to be cut (obviously decreasing air flow...not good, and fan shroud will have to be modified or stock fan will have to be replaced with new electric fan). If I had known this going in, I would understand...but there was no mention from Turbonetics. We have taken pics and are sending to Turbonetics asap.

Any ideas or first hand experience would be greatly appreciated...Thanks.

Your kit might have the right model number listed on it, but the intake parts might be wrong (possibly from the coupe kit).

Turbonetics should be able to tell from the pics.

I wonder if turbonetics took into consideration that the earlier g35's had the mechanical cooling fans and not the electric.
