Stillen supercharger stage 2 Kit?
Hi Guys,
Would any of you guys would know if the 05-06 Stillen Stage 2 supercharger kit will fit a 03? I'm in the process of buying a brand new but open box Stillen supercharger kit#407262IC locally for $2700 which is for 05-06 G35 coupe AT. I'm planning to put this on my 03 G35 sedan AT. I've spoke to one of the tech at Stillen and he says its not a direct bolt on. I need to get a couple of pulleys and other stuff to make it fit on my car which would cost anywhere from $300-$500. Plus another $500 or more for the hood. I've look at the online installation manual and it looks almost exactly alike. They even use the same photos. If its get to about $3500+, then i'll probably go for the turbo system instead or all motor. Few days ago, i just sold my ATI procharger kit because it was a little too loud for my kids. The power was great but want to go with something more liveable. Stillen is the better choice for $2700 and since it easier to install, less maintence and more quiet then the Procharger. I prefer the turbo but too much work and got engine heat issue. I'm planning to pick up the kit this Sunday. I don't want to make another mistake like I did with the Procharger. I would really appreciate it if you any guys could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Stillen just isn't going to have the power at all that the ProCharger did. But I'm pretty sure it only gets loud around WOT and mostly in upper RPM's [I'm sure you knew that though].
Really, I have a ProCharger and I have several complaints and I've read about too many people with varying problems with it.
The only real issue I've heard come from Stillen owners is the power. But reliability for daily driving is exceptional.... and its cheap!

As long as it is not a revup motor i think the only difference is in the pulleys,and compared to the procharger it will not have the same performance but it is dead reliable.Just do not run a long tube or short tube cai on it cause it will be loud.In a 1/8 mile track my old stillen stage 4 would and did destroy a ati procharger but in the 1/4 the ati would easily catch me.........and remember that is at 8psi not higher.

I know, the Procharger power was super but it just something i could not bear it any longer. Stillen or turbo is my only other option for more power. Since some guy locally is selling it for $2700 brand new, that is a pretty good deal to jump on. Any of you guys would know if the 05-06 Stillen supercharger kit would be a direct fit my 03 G35 sedan? Isn't the 05-06 VQ motor is exactly the same as the 03-04 VQ motor?
