good deal or not? ive owned a 2004 before but it was stolen and raped. i am just not sure about the price. any opinions/insight/comments are appreciated.

I would do a compression/leak down test on any FI car before buying them.

Looks like a fair price. Basically getting all of the mods for free. Do an engine health test (compression AND leakdown). It will be the best $250 you ever spend, if the engine ends up being marginal right now.
