Which is more important for SC....

Gauge wise...

Boost seems to be a necessity...but what about the second one (if you can only do 2)

I'm thinking oil pressure....but A/F is important too. What do you guys think?

boost isnt really neede bc sc make the max psi the pulley allows. If u really want to be cheap, the only thing u really need is the wideband. research is your friend.

It's not about being cheap...I want to use the center console for my guages...but I want them to be stealth. I can only fit 2 where the NAV would be.

A wideband afr is probably the most important. Boost is good to have because it can warn you of possible problems like a boost leak, belt needs tightening, dirty filter, etc. In other words, if you usually hit 8psi and now you are only hitting 6psi, you know something is up. And just because VQ's have so many issues with oil consumption, it's my personal opinion that an oil pressure gauge is very important too. The other gauges are not as important but useful in their own right if you decide to get them.

Just as Hexxum had stated, boost is a necessity for problems you may run into in the future. As for the other guages, I personally have oil pressure and exhaust gas temperature. I also have a a/f wideband gauge in sync with my UTEC, so if you don't have a wideband yet I would suggest that. Oil pressure is good to make sure your engine is getting apporpriate oile delivery and exhaust gas temp is good to have to make sure your engine is not running too hot. Just my 2 cents...

thanks guys, all great recommendations!!

For the wideband A/F guage, what do you do if it isn't reading normal levels? Is that where the UTEC tuning comes into play?

These are actually the exact same gauges that I have also. Defi boost, oil pressure and egt gauges. Innovate afr wideband and also a gauge for my Aquamist. The driver's side of my G looks like a freakin jet fighter cockpit!

If given the choice of two, definately go with Boost and AF. If given the choice of 1 gauge with an SC, i would pick AF.

AF will give you a quick AF safety check. Boost will let you know if your belt is slipping, or of something is amiss on the intake side of the engine.

this is like trying to pick your favorite children

on a G35, I'd want to know if there's enough oil in the engine so I'd highly value a oil pressure gauge which if there was a leak and you didn't know it, the whole engine and blower can go south.

Boost IMO is of course useful but only for seeing if there's a boost leak or belt slippage. At best it's a troubleshooting device for the blower or intake piping

IMO A/F is the most critical

coolant and oil temp are going to be wanted if you track the car

On a G35..I would go with a A/F and boost . If you wanted a third gauge , go with a water temp gauge . Our temp gauge doesnt move untill you're into the 230 degree range . I wouldnt worry much about an oil pr. gauge . If you have a leak , it will be dripping or spraying on something hot and smoking....so you would know right away . impo of course
