I may have misunderstood him. But according to other guys, these were previously the head mechanics at GTM.

I need to look into this stuff too. With the cold 40 degree mornings/nights, it's been squealing like crazy at startup.

its not a water pump pulley, but thats how you have to explain it to the dealer and most people so they understand what your talking about. there are many different versions to the modified vortech belt set up, as every one knows or will soon know if they have or are purchasing a vortech sc set up. i have done them all, even came up with a few of my own. you'll have to wait to see pics of what i'm doing now. hopefully by next week you'll see some.

Anyone know anyone around the Boston area that could do this tensioner pulley mod for me? If I get this, there wouldn't be a need to change my 3.33 pulley to a 3.12 pulley right?

If you do it, you'll see/experience less belt slipage. However, on the 3.33 I don't think you'll have to worry much about slipage, or atleast I haven't.

The change to 3.12 is for more Boost. It will require tuning as well.

Look into tightening the belt first. It's probably the cold affecting it more than anything.
