Vortech Belt slippage problem

A few days ago,I posted a belt issue with my Vortech setup. One of the replies was the Timrod or GTM mod which addressed the installation of an additional pulley. That is the route I'd go with since it is a fairly easy install. My question is, Where would I pick up the idler pulley since what I would need a smaller (2 1/4 - 2 1/2" pulley size and all I find available is pulleys around 3- 31/2"?
Also is the belt used after the install the same size belt as original?

belt shouldnt be slipping at all, you should try a shorter belt or to tighten it up tighter

For the GTM mod, just call GTM directly. I'm sure they can get you anything that you need with their mod. PM imalazeeass (Mike), he has the GTM mod and can give you more info. I think Triji also has it. Try PMing him also.

Call Randy...at Ranson. He was the tech at GTM that created this pulley mod. He will take care of you for a more reasonable price with a quicker turn-around. Just had mine done last week! No more slippage and no more squeaking! Tell him I sent you

I remember someone on here was doing a toothed belt conversion, but I don't remember how it came out.

\\\

Vortech did a 1 off cog system for Derek of DSport mag . I bought it from him and toned it down from the 26psi he was trying to make with it .

Im running 20psi with it . A new BOV bypass valve , intercooler pipe re-routing , and a new EMS and I'll be done . Money has been the hold up for me for a while now .

They add an extra pulley by the main 3.33/3.12/2.87 pulley to increase tension on the long stretch of belt. I just called Randy @ Ranson, and he's supposed to call me back with more info.

Wow...was quoted $250 but he explained getting a new water pump pulley and machining it. Isn't that the Timrod mod?
