Do you think this 3" hose can be stretched to 3.5"?

Do you think this 3" hose can be stretched to 3.5"?

This is the hose that comes w/ the turbonetics kit to route the air filter into the wheel well. I'm wondering if this can be stretched onto the Vortech blower to use.

that is gonna be a far strech I am gonna say no not properly but you could get a reducer 3.5 to 3

yeah I could use a reducer to hook it to a small section of 3" piping, then to this 90 degree elbow...BUT, space is very limited where the Vortech blower and filter sit.

why not just buy home depot brake duct and connect a 4" diameter filter instead.... that's a real mans air filter

This is the filter size u need at least... here's a pix of my 10" length filter. I just washed her and I forgot I had the filter down there and it got a little wet but u get the pix.

Don't think you will be able to stretch it, are you routing it to the front grill or down by the front tire? very tight fitting, good luck!

I'm wanting to route it in the wheel well, in front of the tire.

mine sits off center like that too... when i get a bumper where you see my whole intercooler im gonna modify the pipe on the right side so it sits more in the middle... nothing like a little modification

You dont want to try to stretch it over the end of the blower . You will be reducing the amount of air the blower can suck in . Use brake duct hose , the stuff the has a stiff wire in it so it doesnt collapse .
