GReddy TT with JWT intercooler?

Sup fellas! My GReddy TT kit just got here, and since I was wanting to keep my factory front end, I would like to go with the JWT intercooler if I could (for looks). I really wouldn't mind getting the GReddy intercooler, but I would be painting it black to hide it if so. (I wouldn't paint the JWT, of course.)

So my question is: does anyone just sell the JWT intercooler and piping, and does anyone know how difficult or how much custom bent pipe is needed to mate the two together?

Also, is there any notable cooling performance difference between the two? It looks as if the GReddy intercooler is bigger than the two JWT intercoolers combinded... didn't know if one big one is better/worse/no different than two smaller ones. I'm not too worried about having to run the GReddy single with the factory front end if I need to.

Thanks in advance!
John

you'll be fine, most reputable installers will be able to fab you some piping...where are you getting it installed?

Thanks!

My garage Two of my buddies are helping me with it. One is going to engine building school, and the other has installed GReddy kits on other G35's and he has personally owned big single turbo Supras.

I guess I'll have to take it somewhere after the fact to get some piping fabbed up.

Any known +/- with the performance of these intercoolers?

the JWT will flow just fine for you. In fact, it'll be better than the Greddy if you're going to keep your OEM front end because 50% of the Greddy will be blocked

I dont think JWT will sell the IC seperatly. SFR Speed Force Racing custom builds dual ICs for G35s w/stock bumpers and Greddy TT.

Off topic, there's actually engine building school?

Do they teach your how to design engines?

Sorry for going off topic OP! =) *thumbs up*

Ive got the SFR dual set up too, but its sitting on my work bench waiting to be installed after my motor and trans are done, about 2 months of DIY patience . Andrew sent me some temp differentials and they were very good for the Florida heat. Its sorta pricey, cheeper than the Greddy FMIC, but well worth it to keep the stock front bumper, workmanship on the kit is quite good. I cant wait!!!
