10-15k is alot to spend just on FI without building the motor. I think you could probably get a nice kit like JWT, and upgrade your clutch/flywheel for that price, mabe even some motor work. Also I sent you a PM about VTR check your inbox.

...it would depend on what you want the car to do and how you'd want it to drive for the goals you have planned for the car

I can't vote until we know more info about what you want.

otherwise the turbo bandwagon is always strong if you simply want as much power as you possibly can get, though you could always do a chevy V8 swap for that money too

Agreed you have to decided what you want the car to do. I voted TT b/c I LOVE my Greddy TT kit but yes I do have a built engine. When you explain more in what you are looking for when going FI then will be able to give you a better idea of what direction you should go.

thanks.. I want something that would be MORE fun to drive. I love the G
BUT find the need for more power.

I went to my shop today and asked tons of questions. I also wanted
to see some dyno charts and 1/4 mile #'s

This JWT tt is a very nice fit for me considering what bang for the buck
you get,

They did an 06 with test pipes my exhaust/pulley/intake and she pulled
a 466whp/386 lbtq and with a set of Hoosiers ran 11.86 @113.8.
Ya they had to back down the boost because she was running close to
flat line with regard to fuel curves.

Or, just have them drop a 550whp short block and have fun with that
for a while. Boost could come after that.

Thanks for all the input.

11.86 and 113mph seem a little slow for 466whp

and you just dont drop a 550whp short block in a car......lol You need some type a F/I to make that hp on that new block .

Also, 466 rwhp is pretty high for a non bult engine. It will work, but it is asking for long term problems.

Anyways, my vote is for twins, for 10-15k, you can get a JWT kit, all the gauges you need, a new clutch/flywheel, upgraded ECU (I recommend UTEC), and some suspension mods to go with it, as well as some brake upgrades

she should be in the low 11's with that kind of power and Hoosiers

Also, exactly what type of motor are you planning on dropping in that has 550whp NA?
