FI crowd, what oil do you use?
About to go JWT-tt and I just wanted to hear from the FI crowd about what oil they are using? The oil analysis thread is very informative, but it was more helpful when I was stock, as that is what all the trending is targeting really. I had been using Castrol GTX until now. I am thinking of going Mobil1 0w-40. What is everyone else using on their FI setup?

+1, this the the result of my test after 2500 miles of driving.

You only have 2500 miles on it, I'd say you could do an easy 4k even though you're boosted. Nice looking sample from a turbo'd engine, this oil's doing well for you. I think QuadCam is giving Rotella T-Syn a shot in his FI VQ, it will be interesting to see if it's worth trying for your engine as well. Of course, if you stay with the M1 0W-40 you'll be making a good choice for sure, since the results in your engine are already proven to be just fine. I only wonder if there's a brand that might lower the Fe wear.

Mobile 0w40 is proven to hold on Stock Motor at mild boost (below 10psi) and it is cheap and readily available in any Autostore.

The Mobile1 0W40 was from my car and Check the Oil Thread in MY350Z. I think you guys should at least do it once since it is only $22. This will give you a peace of mind that your oil is actually doing its jog.
