Honestly I dunno, my shop is taking care of it for me. But I believe I got the High Performance ones, order 2 of them, using one of them a oil cooler and making the other one my tranny cooler.

I'm a bit lazy, if someone wouldn't mind, what would it cost me to get.....

-Tranny cooler

-Valve body

-Trq. Converter.

I just want to see what people are paying to have all of this work done, add the install cost if you remember. I cant decide if I want to upgrade my stock tranny with this stuff, or just let it go kaboom and get a built tranny. I dont plan to go above like ehhh roughly 400tq, so I think doing the TC, VB, and Tq converter may be just fine.

Did you install over 60 different FI setups on G35s and 350zs last year?? with 20-25% of them being 5ATs??

Have you pushed and pushed the limits of any 5AT on your dyno and on the street or track many many times??

just curious... of course we are here to make enough money to stay around, but i think the amount of our information we share with everyone would be enough to make it past the insulting comments that can be so easy to throw out over the internet. stop by the shop if you are ever in town...

Looking through my bill;
Tranny cooler=200 for parts and 200 labor

Valve body=850 for parts and 220 labor

TC=550 for parts and 450 labor

Hope that helps.

Where did you guys attach the tranny cooler to? Right in front of the Rad? Anyone has pics? Parts list for install?

I would like to install it myself, i dont have much money to spend right now as i am investing in a home. I dont have FI or SC but just want the tranny to run nice and cool, hopefully extending the life since i usually tend to do some spirited driving ^_^. Hope someone can help! Thanks!

If you're not FI or have internal mods, you really dont need it.

This is an AWESOME thread. Jotting notes. I'm also a 5AT driver. Now, would you guys recommend I have the VB, TC, and Tranny cooler done before, or during the FI installation?

I've decided I don't want to take my chances and burn out the trans since it'll cost more on the backend.

I only want a mild OEM like FI tune, mid 300s on either a ST or TT setup. I don't drive aggressive but every now and then I'd like the extra power for that back road or two. Plus I drive my car like 1-2x a week. I'm planning/budgeting for FI in the next year.

Based on that, what would you do if you were in my spot?
