Smile Can my G35 beat a M6?

I have a 03' coupe automatic. I have upgraded my stopping capabilities and am ready to start up'ing my horsepower. I would like take the turbo route, but would like to do it as safe as possible. My ears are open to all suggestions!

Thanks in advance for the support!

well, if I only read the title I would say no. But anything is possible once you go turbo. I'd advise you to search to learn

more about the limits of the car, but most say 400whp is the safest for the engine. I dont know much about the M6 and its numbers,

(except its 500bhp) so I wont say much about you beating them in any situation. g/l

There's gonna be a lot of $$$ involved I'd say...but it's not impossible =) there are quite a few boosted G's out there with big number and awesome performance, so it's just lot of tuning and modding

You would really need to have a built motor with the JWT 700BB kit, and a built tranny. Then you would also want wider wheels, better suspension, and you would also need an exhaust. Basically you are looking at 20grand give or take a few. M6's are not uber fast, but they have a large V10 and probably can get to almost 200 with the speed limiter removed. I would aim more to have a car that can take M3's and Evos, then you are only lookin at like ehhh 10k lol.

M6 is around as fast as the newer Z06's I think.. Which is pretty damn fast. Z06's have 5xx(505 last time I checked) bhp and are lighter than our cars. This goal, pretty much, is unrealistic, unless you have a ton of money. But I honestly wouldn't invest that kind of money into a G35, you can buy a better car instead.

well, the thing is... i already told my dad(M6) his *** is grass.

Ok, maybe safe wasn't the buzz word i was looking to use. Basically, I intend to follow through with my good word. I just would like to build my G in a manner in which i dont have to re-replace parts, or upgrade parts that will need to be replaced later down the line.

Q. will my stock auto transmission be able to handle the ammount of horsepower i am talking about?
1. Are there performance transmissions available?
2. Are there performance modifications that can be done to my transmission?
Q. twin or single?

Q. Does anyone know an arizona mechanic?

Thanks!!

Well, on your tranny the horsepower will not affect in any way, its the torque that affects it. I believe the number the stock tranny

can handle is anywhere from 350wtq-400, but talk to '617 G', he knows plenty about the auto transmission. I think you

can also get a valve body (VB) upgrade which will make the shifts harder and faster, and you can get a tranny cooler which should help also.

As for twin or single, just ask yourself how big you wanna go.
