Wow, I dont have the ***** to do something like that. I kept on thinking I was going to break something just installing a CAI, lol. Good stuff man!

 

Ah, only because it will help someone in the future. We(ill take some of the blame for it) put the left downpipe on the right side, and the right downpipe on the left side.

So it turns out, the downpipe is now resting on my steering shaft. I am having one hell of a time trying to remove it. I had a chance to work on it again today, so I just sprayed some WD-40 and let it soak overnight. Hopefully it will pop right out when I get to work on it again.

I am not too happy about that at all. It was a very very very very careless mistake, because when we were installng it. I was assembling my test pipes to my y-pipe at the same time. And the bolt patterns werent matching up at all. I should have stopped right there and then and tried to figure it out.

Btw got my fuel pump completely installed today

 

Got a chance to work on the car again today. I fixed my little blooper. It really kicked my butt these past couple of days. I just have the right test pipe to install and then im going to turn the key. Ill probably get a chance to work on it tomorrow. Lets hope my engine starts with no problems!

Im finished with it. I ran into a bunch of problems, and overcame them. I dont recommend anyone to do this themselves ever! This was such a pain in the a$$ project. Its almost over. I am driving down tomorrow to houston to get it tuned and will update with the numbers.

 

Are we gonna see this done in DFW?? I thought you were getting stationed overseas in April, are you bringing the car with you???

 

I just wanted to get it done before I went overseas, So I dont have to keep wondering "what it would have been like". I dynoed in at 350hp/350tq with stock exhaust and test pipes. I wanted to post a dyno sheet but havent gotten it yet.

I drove down to Orlando, Florida on Thursday, going to leave the car here at my brothers house while I leave. Im scheduled to fly out to japan on April 18th. So just on leave before I get shipped out.
