Its about time!

After 4 months of having my twin turbo kit just sit in my friends garage. I finally decided to start to install it. I hope the install goes smoothly. Today we just removed all the obstructions in the front so we can pull the engine out. Ill add some more pictures as the days go by.

Yeah, good luck. I also did mine with the engine in the car. About 100 hours later, all was up and running. Next time, I'm pulling the engine out.

Take lots of pictures and post them...

Well today we started at 10am and worked till about 4:30pm. I think we got a lot accomplished because none of us have worked on a g35 before, nor have we pulled a engine, or installed a turbo kit in our entire lives. My morale completely dropped a couple of times and I was just asking my self, wtf was I thinking doing this my self, but then pieces just started to fall in place.

Here are some more pictures. We mounted the cherry picker to the engine.

Removed the exhaust manifolds from both sides and all the clutter in the area, the engine is pretty much out. We still have the harness connected to the transmission. Thats why we didnt completely remove the engine. We still have enough room to work on it. We didnt really know too much about those harnesses, since we had room to work on the engine. We just decided to work on the car this way.

Dropped the Oil pan and got the spacer installed.

Installed the left side exhaust manifold so we could connect the turbo.

We ended the job here for the day. The shop doesnt open up till Thursday again. So going to be a couple of days before I can get at it.

Will keep you guys posted!

Thats one of my major concerns right now, im not sure if I want to drive(its about 20 miles to the nearest tuner) or put it on a flat bed and have it towed there. I really dont want to risk blowing my motor after we have spent all that time on everything. My car is eventually going to Jeremy once I get my car shipped back to Orlando.

Thanks for the positive comments, will keep you guys updated, Thursday will be next day we get to work on it again.
