S/C question

Ok im sorry if this is a raw noob question or it is posted in bold letters somewhere but is there a way to have supercharger but have almost two setting for it. For example a normal everyday day driving with very low boost and a higher end higher boost setting? Is this possible at all?

I ask this because Im a daily driver and I also have and auto so it there was two settings so I wouldnt messed my tranny up too much with those everyday drives.

No, superchargers use the drive belts/pulleys to set the boost.

You need turbo(s) to make changes on the fly.

The only option would be to have different pulleys you changed out and different tunes you could pick between.

Blow off has nothing to do with the amount of boost you run. You are thinking of a wastegate.

Yes there is a way to install a wastegate on a SC but it takes a lot of custom work. There was another thread about this a while back. You would need a high boost pulley and a custom pipe/wastegate setup and a boost controller. Then 2+ tunes for the different boost levels.
