wow newb here!? You ordered a kit and dont even know all the essentials that you need depending on your power goals? You're in for a world of trouble.....most of us research for a long time before we go FI. I myself have been researching for almost a year and haven't decided yet. You got a long road ahead of you buddy.

Don't forget to order a 10lbs pulley and a Serpentine belt. Make sure your belt is always tight for the wastegate to open. Lastly, you have to have some Stickers!!! That will give you the extra 10whp.

Well I'm not gonna bust your ***** about this but many people will flame you for doing this. As mentioned above many people research the options, pros and cons, and parts needed before going FI on these cars. You cant just put any turbo on these cars and expect not to have problems. You need a lot more than what you just mentioned ie. fuel pump, injectors, some sort of engine management unti, colder spark plugs and the list can go on. Also most importantly you will need a damn good tuner. To make life easier why not just spend the money and do it right the 1st time. There are a few companies such as APS and Turbonnetics that make single turbo kits for these cars. Also read and search the Forced Induction thread to get an idea of the many chalenges that stand ahead when taking on such a tedious time consuming and sometimes just not worth it task. BTW welcome to driver!

So what brand turbo did you buy? Lets get that out of the way, cause it seems like you just bought a bunch of things you dont even know what is, and how to install...you're in for some big trouble if you just did, the only single turbo i can think is the aps or turbonetics single turbo, get that, have a shop install it, then have a shop tune it,no point in trying to do it your self, you're just in for a head ache....unles you have mechanic skills, but i dont know..

As for instructions, if you orderd a turbo kit from a company, that company provides a installation guide, yet i dont know what you bought, are there even non-brand name turbos for our cars that we just buy and install? I dont even know...

if i where u.. sell what you have and start all over.. Get sum book time first learn about the systems.. then figuer whats good for you.. and your budget. Dont "EVER EVER" rush it..

belive me.. "NOT ALL TUNERS ARE THE SAME" i mean that for reals yo. Home made kits are good if u tech like that.. If u a new be.. i wouldn't risk it!

I have a feeling it wasn't even a kit that was purchased, but some random parts, possibly off ebay or craigslist.

i think u all need to take a chill pill here. Every time someone post just asking for help, you guys start making jokes and make the person feel like they are the dumbest person on earth. Yes the kits are hard to install however, with some hard work and the right tools they get a little easer. Hey, i did it and i'm a 19 year old college student. I do think that kumar88 got him self a little deeper then most of the other people, for the fact that he didn't get a kit. But come on he doesn't need to be made fun of. The point of this section is for help and to ask questions.

My advise to u kumar88 is to return the stuff you order if its not compatible with kit out there. I would then order a kit and give it a try, if u have all the tools and stuff required to do the kit install. If you cant do it then take it to a shop for help.
