Hey, I just purchased the 08 G35xS and was wondering what add-ons or mods I can perform to get a good 100hp more out of the car. Do any pro's here know a good combination of products to get the best result?

 

100hp??? FI is the only way... turbo or SC.

 

But are there any side effects on the car? Or will it run perfectly?

normally, i would just tell u to search, since there are 2352524154 threads covering this topic. but i'm bored today, so i'll just go through it...

You can go turbo, twin turbo, supercharged, or add nitrous. I don't know of any kits for the 2nd-gen sedans, but i'm sure u can find something. going F/I requires a lot of money, research, and patience. expect $8k MINIMUM for a basic F/I application... $15k minimum if you're gonna build ur motor. If I haven't scared u off already, then read on...

going F/I greatly increases the risk of blowing your motor. also, expect small things to go wrong here and there... you'll also have to upgrade many other parts (fuel pump, injectors, a good EMS, true-dual exhaust, wider wheels/tires to keep the power down, etc etc)


SUMMARY: the only way to get that power increase is forced induction. and I wouldn't even think about it unless you really know what you're doing and have a lot of money to blow.
