i use the HKS EVC6 and i like it, holds steady, has a bunch of features if you want them like 2 maps, shows an analog gauge and a numerical guage of how much boost, very clear display.

You cant really compare an EBC and just the Utec BCS. Having said that, I do have the Utec BCS but I can't wait to switch to an EBC. Utec BCS does the job but it is not as good on holding boost as a good EBC.

i would do the evc6 or the blitz sbc-id. both are quality boost controllers. i check my boost regularly using the peak function on the defi guages. no boost creep since the blitz was installed in september. more expensive than the aforementioned boost controller setups, but sometimes you actually get what you pay for.

I would go with NO BOOST CONTROLER.. use your ECU? or why do you need one? I cant think of a reason for MOST of us to use a boost controller.. its going to cause you to spike higher/more randomly as well.. also if you're in a stock motor why would you want something to let you turn up the boost.. our MPG isnt effected that bad when Turboed anyways "just a little higher is fine"

Given the choice between the Profec spec B and the UTEC BCS controlled via UTEC...I would take the second choice. But my favorite stand alone boost controller is the HKS EVC6.
