running NOS...

well , i've been really looking into a Nitrous kit for my G.......thought about SC & TT but after all my research, i think it's a bit too spendy for my budget and since i'll be parting with my G in a year'ish, why dump 12K plus on building my G up just to sell her in a year......

i've asked sum of the verteran DRIVER members about set-up, kits, tuning and such with no avail......so i'm now asking the community to help me out a bit....

so far i'm leaning towards a Nitrous-Xpress kit....Dual stage...Wet-kit....for a total of 125-150 shot. i've already figured out all the safety extras i would need to run nos without blowing my motor such as bottle warmer, TPS sensor, fuel pressure safety switch, and window switch. is this all i would need to run a 125/150 shot/dual stage safely?? i do have a techno-square reflash, so would i need to retune back to stock/ at lease my timing ...... ? thanks for any input you nitrous guys can give....!!

when people see "running NOS..." they think you are running nos... (like i assumed you were)... but people dont want to clutter up the OP's question space b/c then the thread blows up and usually ends up nowhere...

You might wanna post: "NOS experts need your help" or "help with nos kit" etc... something that clearly says that you need help vs something that you could be posting results for etc...

just my 2c... sorry to clutter up your space

its not NOS thats a newb thing sorry. refer to it as Nitrous please! NOS is an actual brand lke NX, Nytrex, Dynotune, etc. tha just reminds me of someone who watches to much fast and furious! but i dont want to be 2 mean, so i would recommend a UTEC to pull timing for that shot and a tune. also maybe a blow down tube for added safety. also look into Dynotunes heater, as that regulate pressure unlike other bottle heaters. but read more and if you have an account on my350, go to the nitrous forum and read the sticky Audible Mayhem put up. it is VERY useful.

You will need to run some sort of EMU and most importantly get it tuned. I'm not really big on reflashes so if you have the money just upgrade to a programable standalone emu. Also there is no such thing as running nitrous safely. You may also want to look into a thicker head gasket and colder spark plugs.

Get an A/F lean shutdown switch instead of a fpss. Go to www.dynotunenitrous.com
