calling it quits for a while
A turn of events has made me decide to sell off the custom Vortech all cog pulley supercharger system . My girl friend has been laid off and we are in the middle of putting a large set of steps off our deck , re-roofing the house on Saturday , and a new sea wall put in a 3 weeks. All this work is costing me upwards of 20 grand . We have the money to cover this work , but will be scrapped afterwards . I have some of the latest work done on the car [ Haltech and tune ] and put it on a credit card . Im selling off the SC system to cover this bill . Im not a person that has credit card bills that dont get get paid right away
I had just had the Haltech installed and tuned to 487whp and around 400lbs trq. on a AT5 tranny . On the load based dyno he couldnt get it to red line on a power pull [ to get a dyno chart ] with out chewing the teeth off the blower belt . I was going to take it to a DynoJet next week to see if I could get it to 6800rpm . But instead I wanted it to be more solid of a set up and had just ordered boost limiter valves that Quamen suggeted http://www.928m.com/parts/boostlimitervalve.php With these on the IC pipe and adjusted to around 16psi . Im sure all the belts will hold till redline . And smaller pulley's that I have can get it to 16psi sooner . As of now , I think its at 16psi at around 5800rpm .
SO...all is for sale ..... Vortech's race version of the T-trim blower [ race gear box and bearings ] .... Custon all cog pulley set up....3 inch IC pipe from IC to plenum....Mondo BOV.... Icevex IC40-M 24+12+4 intercooler...2 of the boost limiter valves in link above . And a couple extra blower belts. And extra pulleys . There is a for sale ad here and My350Z
The Haltech is staying in the car .
It was hard to do this , as I have a lot of time and cash in this thing . Hell this last time in the shop has cost me around as much as Im asking for the whole thing . Maybe in a year or so I might be able to put something back on it . But with the house hold income cut in half , things will not be the same for a while .
A couple people have PMed me asking where they can get a cog set up . Well here is your chance

That sucks man, sorry to hear this... This economy is soooo screwed right now. Things will definately pick up for you, they always do.
Tell your GF that loosing a job is a door opening up for a better opportunity.
Good luck man
