don't they achieve the same thing?
You can't do a simple throttle wire cut on these cars because of the drive by wire system. If you cut one throttle wire you have to cut the other, but you have to keep a linear relationship between the "cuts" - it's not as simply as disconnecting the wire.

The module uses the throttle wire to detect WOT. It uses the clutch wire to know when you are about to shift. It uses the signal cut output to cut ignition or fuel, or both. I'm catless so I just did ignition cut.

Before I strap the car down to the dyno this Thursday I plan to add one more "feature" to the box. This new feature, along with our sensible pricing, should set us apart from the competition.

The goal is to have the 2 step feature included by time of release. Our testing time frame is 2-3 weeks so that should give us more then enough time to develop the software. The current hardware supports 2 stepping and this feature will be included at no extra charge.

The feature we are adding won't be mentioned until it is tested and working - but from an engineering perspective it should make a pretty big (although almost unnoticable to the driver) difference in the way the module interacts with the car.

After our testing phase is done (2-3 week time frame) we will be offering a group buy at $99.99 per module. This module will include the Speed Shift AND 2 step features.

But wait, if we get 20 confirmed purchases during the initial 2 weeks we'll drop the price to our wholesale price that another vendor leaked on to the internet - $69.99! I'm not one to make claims, but I feel confident saying you will NOT find these features for cheaper then this - and the module comes with KPtechnologies quality and customer service!

We are still looking for testers - I plan to ship the test units out this coming Monday. Sign up in the KPtechnologies support forum if you are willing to help!

Would totally be up for it if my car wasn't in a built. Definitely going to get in on the group buy though.

I didn't plan on working on this at all today, but I got the 2 step half working. I was able to somewhat control RPM and build boost. However, my only intention was to test that it will work, so I still have to develop the actual firmware to control the thing the way it needs to be controlled.

are you primarily setting it up for turbo cars? I'd just want a launch control that holds rpm until clutch is released
