Differential drivetrain problem..HELPPPP

Today I got into the car to go for a spin, as I was rolling in neutral i felt like the car had a flat, as I proceeded to get on it the car was going in all different directions and felt very wobbly and loose even at low speeds, I slowed down and exited the freeway. As I was driving the city streets very slow and cautious, I kept hearing a constant rattle coming from the rear end as if I had rock in my rear left wheel. Has this happened to anyone else?

I was thinking it was the differential, but I won’t know forsure until Monday when I tow the car to the mechanic.

And if it is the differential what type of aftermarket components should I go with ?
I was reading the 3.9 FD gears are excellent to go along with the vortech, can anyone please explain to me a little bit more.

Thanks guys

The car is a 2004 6mt Vortech SC.

How many miles are on the car. Is it more of a vibration or rattle? Maybe your wheel bearings are shot? I just had my wheel bearings replaced, but they had almost 100,000 miles on them without FI.
