fuel pump noise

Parked the car today and noticed the fuel pump running. Never have actually heard it before. Have a Walbro and return kit. Fuel pressure was also reading normal and still a quarter tank of gas. Thanks in advance.

You should hear the fuel pump if you listen for it, sounds like a small whining sound. You're fine if thats all you hear.

Yeah that noise is normal. You should hear it when you go to the 2nd position on the ignition (on).

Always carry a spare when Walbro is installed save much time and pain on the side of the road in a rainstorm.
