Yes you may not need a bigger injector coz your pushing low WHP. You can use FMU but you can only push a stock injector so much and raising the Fuel Pressure isn't going to help you anymore.

Utec also has full control of your timing and fuel when on boost or load, unlike other piggyback that just SCALE the ECU Our ECU is to smart and it does change timing map base on Temp, octane..etc When the ecu change then your Tune isn't spot on anymore. People that will pick the SS, Emanage, Unichip over Utec obviously don't know what they are talking about. I guess they like to be under the Mercy of the ECU

Yes, sorry. Reason for 330 is I'm still on stock fuel pump and injectors plus like was said, the Dyno Dynamics reads pretty low.

I need to give my car back to Scott and let him add at bare minimum a higher flowing fuel pump).
I dont see the point to why you said that, but he actually made 314 on a dyno here in Vegas twice. I know, because I was there.

I was talking about what Istan made on Scott's dyno. I believe you, just talking about a different reference point.

haha, it sounds like all three of us went the cheap route. I know Boostfed will be getting his fuel issues sorted out and up the boost within the next week. I think he made the same power as you. 330 is dead on for just slapping on the Vortech tuner kit. Scott predicted this number for both of you before he even put your guy's cars on the dyno.

You are wrong sir. All I need is a fuel pump and I"m set. Stock injectors have been proven to flow enough for 440 whp. I'm running a SS box and vortech fmu and everything has been fine. You are coming from a different shop so you have been told otherwise.

I've seen too many of Scott's cars that are pushing major hp with the JWT SS box and FMU. people have their own opinions but you definitely don't need the Utech.

Nobody recommends the Unichip, or Emanage. Those who don't recommend the SS box don't know how to tune it. I think GTM even now has figured it out and has switched to it lol. Scott is pretty much a god with the SS box, and he has been working on training the ECU itself to accommodate boost (not using any aftermarket ECU), which nobody has done yet. Last the last car I have seen him working on with this was in the 600 whp range.

Yes you can use a rising fuel pressure but that is a half a$$ way of fuel enrichment. Do you really want your injector to be 100% duty cycle all the time? There is a bigger chance of the injector failing that way. JWT TT uses the same thing but you won't hear Jim saying his JWT is safe to run at 440whp with the basic kit Scott has advertised many different WHP and had been questioned on MY350z a lot.

You are right utec is not necessary but look at the other extra that Utec gives you. The active knock control alone is well worth the money since this will help your motor survive when knock is detected, especially on hot humid days or if you do get a bad tank of gas. Not to mention the ECU has no input once you are on boost. You can dictate what kind of timing and the actual pulse width of the injector with utec regardless what the ECU want.

^^It's also worse to push your injectors at 100% duty cycle on a supercharged setup vs. a turbo setup.

Fuel/EMU upgrades are one things I'm not not cheaping out on...Vpro, larger injectors, JWT FMU, AFK, walbro pump...

This arguement is pointless fellas. If he wants to push his injectors to the brink, let him. He admitted in one of his posts above that he went the cheap route. That's all that really needs to be said. The rest of us would rather be safe than sorry. If he wants to play Russian roulette with his engine, let him.

What happened to scott was fvcked up. It wasn't his fault the company he worked for before him was messed up and did crooked things. Scott is a great guy. I have talked to him a couple times and he has been nothing more than helpful.

I don't even know scott and i would trust him with my car anyday.

You are going to love your car when you get back! Good luck and stay safe!

Exactly, take ya arguments elsewhere.

In regards to "boosting around town" Matter of fact she is. She emailed me and said she took it for a spin and some Civic at a light kept revving at her. So she decided to smoke him.

Not that funny right, until you can imagine a 40 yr old mother of two, masters degree in hand, trying to street race.

I put an end to that though.
