meh, if it works it works. I will be upgrading my injectors just to be safe. I know boostfed has already planned to upgrade his. Don't bring the my350 crap here. It's all bogus. Scott has done a lot of experimenting on his own and figured out what the vq is capable of FI/ and NA (EDIT: taken out super secret stuff) and has proven a lot of the guys on my350z wrong.

sorry devildog. No more FI battles. Bump for you.

Sorry to offend people. I recall that stock kits put out around 330 whp, but I read too much into the above statement. Where is says "tune", I was assuming that RA performed a custom tune...........my bad.....I guess it is a stock vortech tune.

I was under the impression that RA did this Vortech install using a Split Second box and FMU from the JWT TT kit. I am pretty sure that is how they prefer to install all the Vortech's.
Knowing that the this is a newer rev up Vortech SC kit and that they now come with the Uni-Chip, this install used the different piggy back box and fuel system one could say that this IS a custom tune.

Hey guys, just wondering what the total cost was after parts and labor? Did it adversely effect driving in any way? Thinking about getting one and I dont want to get on over my head. My car is Bone-stock, DG 05' AT, I would like it to be a total sleeper...It would be nice to surprise a few V-8's! Any input appreciated... Thanks!

But anyways congrats on the FI setup. RA will be doing my JWT Custom 730BB Kit soon =)..

Off Topic:
SS Box is fine.. We're not doing anything crazy with our cars under 370-400whp.. its like tuning a Stock car with an Piggy Back/Standalone ECU when all you need is a reflash. But of course if you have the $.$ go for it.. eventually its a necessary upgrade.. but for now us low-biees can be happy with our piggy back - while I personally agree if you're going FI you'd get a standalone eventually but then again my views on FI is going over 400whp and the amount of supporting mods bought is close to the cost of the full kit lol.. So in the end it's how far the owner's willing to go.. No point in bashing what's better.. its like trying to agrue weather I should put some PS2s or T1Rs on for daily driving -_-.. Scott/RA has done his job.. Met the client's power goals, correctly installed the product, provided a safe and long lasting tune, and provided an above and beyond customer service.

But to answer many of the guys question
Vortec Kit.. (go look up the price on full/tuner)
+ $ for every supporting mod you want
+ $1,000ish for install ( +$ for supporting mods)
+ $500ish for tune ( +$ depending on level of ECU and agressive of a tune)

You'll find that the sky is the limit... how far will you go?

JWT 730BB +Custom AR Kit w/Custom SINGLE FMIC = probably $10,000 retail
Bigger Radiator = $500 Installed
Oil Cooler = $300 installed
Clutch Fly Wheel = $900 RETAIL + Install
SS Box = Included / F-Con = $4,000 retail w/harness / haltech = ???
Build Motor (HR Crank? O.O / Rods / Bearings / Pistons/ Rings/ Machining / etc... etc.. etc.)

But back on topic.. congrats Devil Dog =)

Congrats DevilDog,
I was the one you bought the kit from, consider yourself in possesion of the very first revup complete kit

I know you will love it and enjoy every second that you spend mashing on the pedal, I truly miss that feeling

Car is looking awesome by the way

Oh, I've been back since mid Oct. Car is currently at Scotts getting some body parts painted and installed, gauges installed, etc.

Love the powerband and the linear torque curve the vortech provides, only complaint I have is the "at idle rocks in a can" sound that the vortech has. Scott is taking care of that by upping the idle a bit.

Can't wait to get it back for a second time now.

cool. I hooked up scott with a few customers and they're please with his work. My buddy's got a skyline which had turbo leaks and other issues and Scott hooked him up at a reasonable price. No more leaks and the car pulls harder.
